Starting this year (2006), faculty annual reports will be submitted online via the Faculty Information Management System (FIMS). This help page will cover basic information about FIMS. Entering and Editing Your Information
Once you have logged in to FIMS, you will be taken to a main screen. On the right are links to announcements about the system from each college coordinator.

At the bottom, you should see your name. Click on your name to access your annual report.
Editing Your Annual Report
Clicking on your name will take you to the main screen for editing your annual report. On the left-hand side of the screen is the main menu, which is ordered by the major headings of the report. In the middle of the screen, in the main content area, are the links to each section of the annual report. Clicking on each of these links will take you to a different section where you can add information to your report.

When you click on a link in the main content area, it will open to a new page with subheadings related to that specific section. It is here that you will edit your report.

Once you have finished your annual report, you will have to release the report so that the Chair as well as the Dean's office can view the completed document.
In order to release the report, click on "Review Report." In the upper right hand corner there is a link titled "Release Report." Click here. You will then be asked to click "Yes" and submit the report. Once you have submitted the report, the Chair will be able to see that it is finished and ready to be reviewed.
